BREAKING NEWS: Yesterday my cat that normally hates me gave me some love! I held out my hand and she walked up, let me pet her, and even gave me some love.
Am I the only one that thinks that looks more like a bathroom mirror on the wall, therefore making this a bathroom “snake that pukes water” rather than a kitchen one?
Many cats are fascinated by moving water. In the wild, moving water is always fresher. I had one cat who would go so far as to push on the water bowl to get the water sloshing around.
Several of my cats over the years have loved the faucet. They would stand there and demand I turn it on. They never learned to turn it off. Now I have a “fancy fountain” that runs all the time for Zoe. It’s a big hit.
Two of my cats, Turbo and Peekaboo, loved drinking from the kitchen faucet and never seemed to mind the water running over their faces. When Turbo got lymphoma, I got a fancy fountain so he wouldn’t have to jump up to the counter and demand drinks. He adored “his” fountain, as did Peekaboo. And it is still in use by their younger “siblings” today.
We adopted Son 1 and DIL’s beloved cat when they moved and exceeded the pet limit. (notice: we will not give her back!). Cat lived in an apt with 2 dogs so Son put the litter box and food in a gated off bathroom along with a cat water fountain. Cat. Could jump the gate but thought of the bath as " her" space. She now thinks of our bathroom as her space although its not gated and she shares litter boxes food in another room with 3 more cats and a dog. But she LOVES the bathroom faucet and frequently asks me to go in and turn the water on for her. No human can use the room without her company and the faucet running. She is adorable.
Dear lim95, Welcome to BCN and the Orb. Its hard to believe you are 12, but then again my Son 1 is a genius too and showed it well before 12.. I must hope you have Georgia dunn’s permission to work on a BCN game, so I will proceed from that premise. Congratulations on being a cat lover!!! You will find many kindred spirits here although not too many age mates. So PLEASE make your game easy for us non technical people to play. I read your requests for colleagues with certain program experience. My technical level requires me to ask you to translate your requests into English, which is my first language; and I was considered a genius in my time too. Or as Son 1 once exclaimed, " Mom, you are a girl nerd!". So please don’t leave us non technical BCN fans in the dust after you perfect your game. Thanks! Looking forward to playing it.
My furry butts have had their own fountain on the vanity for years. They love it. When I break it down to clean it I get dirty looks until it goes back into service.

From the Sons of the Pioneers: Cool, Clear Water
Discovered the sink has a place to drink
A snake that pukes water,
Cool water!
…….
Elvis lets Goldie know
Of the metal snake that shows
Where the water all flows, yes water
Cool, clear water!
…….
Nothing like a dish that answers my wish
A bowl of kibble and water,
Cool water!
Cool, clear, water!

Goldie is really going about her new Environment, learning as much as she can from the locals.
Of course, some of the local knowledge is superstition or folk tales without substantiation.
Hopefully Goldie will be able to separate the reality from the Elvis.

Seems to me that just calling it the “small fountain in the kitchen” would be the simpler and more efficient name. It at least uses less syllables.
