… and Opal is not impressed with (or interested in) cleaning ones body by licking oneself off.

For Opal’s next trick she will pull a rabbit out of a hat .

Reading through today’s comments, there can never again be any doubt as to the demographics for this comic strip. And I resemble that remark.

I have a theory … my arms are shrinking, while my legs are still growing. Explains why my feet are so far away.

On the Cat? Everyone knows, Cats are the equivalent of a furry octopus, with pointy things that scratch.

I see the collar of Opal’s lilac polka dot shirt under that sweatshirt…

Maybe I could try that, too, but getting up off the floor may be the harder challenge. It certainly is not a pretty sight.

I take pride in my flexibility. Throughout my life I’ve always been able to touch my knees without bending my toes.

Any critter capable of licking it’s own butt is not likely going to be impressed by any human stretch exercises.

As we’ve all heard about a zillion times: “Growing old ain’t for sissies!!!”

Let’s see the old lady lick her ass like the cat. That would be impressive!!!!

my mother-in-law said when she was a girl at a sunday school gathering in somebody’s parlor the conversation was lacking and she nudged the guy next to her, pointed to the cat who was licking behind his neck and said, “bet you can’t do that.” by the time everybody looked the cat had rapidly switched over to like Muffin in the last frame.

She’s jealous.

I am impressed Opal. Today’s reminds me of a video a woman also stretching and dog looks like Muffin what is the big deal. Too funny.

I can still put my palms on the floor when standing, but these days I need 2-3 days of stretching to get there. I am naturally limber, but have gotten a bit lazy about keeping it up.

I’m impressed that a woman Opal’s age can still get down on the floor. Can she get back up again? I certainly can’t.

Big deal! Muffin can still lick her behind.
