So you decided that you just wanted to have yourself buried at a young age, huh, Nelson?

When is when a woman not a grandmother? Either when she died single or is a spinster.

One of the tasks of growing up is figuring out how categories fit together.

My Grandmas were spectacular, miss them a lot!

He’s NOT starting off too good..!!

It’s more like: She’s not just a woman … she’s a grandma

… and … She’s not just a grandma … she’s my Gramma.

He never met my Grannie-she never had a problem making herself understood.

Nelson …poor kiddo…he is so confused by Earls remarks….

My grandmother was a sweet and generous person and could crochet with the best of them. I gave her 200 pounds of steel wool once and knitted me a stove.

There were lots of women I had difficulty talking to, as a kid, but my grandmother wasn’t one of them. I could tell here everything! I got along better with her than I did with my parents.

One grandma taught me to play cribbage. The other tried to save my soul by preaching about the evils of the “papists.”

Dangerous territory, young man. Just walk away.

Nelson – it’s not speaking to women that is the issue. It’s figuring out what she actually means on any given day. That meaning can have several changes throughout said day.

Men have been trying to figure that our since we started walking on this rock. You figure that out……and we are on to something.
