I think the last time we saw Mumbles, Punjab had a hand around Mumbles’ throat after Mumbles had escaped Tracy’s attempt to arrest him during the assault on Ace Tower. I have always thought that Punjab turned him over to the police after that (https://www.gocomics.com/dicktracy/2015/09/20).
I see that he’s researching more treasures that the Apparatus can plunder with the help of the Time Drone, even though he says that he hadn’t given it much thought.
They haven’t even got the bloody time stuff yet and they are already counting their “Powerball winnings”. Since it wont be possible to remove the support equipment the Time Drone™ depends on I can see a pathway of surveillance equipment turned off and a conveniently unguarded entrance left accessible, for some after hours tinkering. It wont matter to the Inside guy who facilitates all this as he (she?) will be a suddenly vanished ex employee living in a “friendly” foreign country.
Over thirty years ago, thirteen works were stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Philadelphia. Rembrandt’s The Storm on the Sea of Galilee remains missing (appraised worth: $140 million), along with works by Vermeer, Manet, Degas, and Flinck. Grab ‘em up, Mumbles.
Mumbles and Doubleup would make one heck of a dynamic duo like Batman and Robin. One of them repeats himself and the other one would cause a person to cuff their ear and utter “what’s that you said, Sonny”?
Who has turned in this storyline so far….Ace of Spades, the Apparatus, Blackjack, Doubleup and Mumbles. Could the Mole be far behind? Nah, he went straight….his niece Molene might join the line-up. Hidden treasures and fortunes make criminals do the darndest things.
…he’ll likely find that book that Der Fuhrer hisself autographed for Indy (incognito in a German uniform…) in that scene from"IJ&TLC"….if he looks around long enough…….
The Apparatus is such a super-secret organization they wear masks around each other to hide their identities yet when they want to research possible targets for the time drone they send out someone with a major speech impediment who would be easily remembered to publicly buy up research books instead of using the … internet. Explain, please.
Mumbles returns! Our favorite mushy-mouthed villain appears to be a part of the Apparatus, unless he’s setting himself up to be a rival independent contractor, which seems unlikely. Should we suppose Ace of Spades recruited him (or sprung him, if that were the necessity) for his skills as a Front Man?! Iduntinkzo….

It looks like the name of this book store is “Books.” I wonder how they distinguish themselves from their competitors.

Geez, another twice, or is it three, time dead guy resurrected. Vultures, feeding off the brain of a really creative guy named Gould. Shame.

Hmm…is Mumbles at this bookstore on behalf of Ace of Spades? A book about shipwrecks, someone is planning to hire a salvage firm or skin divers.

ANOTHER one????To quote Groucho Marx,“It my imagination or is it getting crowded in here?”
Mumbles could make more money writing a book about where he’s been the past six years.

The parade of Tracy Special Guest Villains continues!
How long before Abner reappears?
Or Flattop, for that matter?
Those of you who still have hair, watch out for the tease!

Max Collins gave us a “Parade of Villains” for the 50th Anniversary, but at least he only threw them at us one at a time!!

When will the Feds create a bureau for the control and regulation of time travel, like the Federation did in Star Trek Deep Space Nine?
