The punny use of “sax” is common, but that instrument is not a saxophone of any sort. A saxophone has keys and a very different mouthpiece. The closest modern relative of that thing is a hunting horn, though considering its size, they must be hunting brontosaurs.

Technically sax is a wind instrument with a reed, not a horn. Note the mouthpiece

Few things worse than an out-of-tune horn.

The horn may be useful in keeping all the dinos at bay. They would think twice before they would want to mess with anything that sounds like that.
