Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Then the teacher will test to see if Calvin really is paying attention, because they know itâs out of character for him and inevitably get busted. What a great day it will be!
Iâd like to know how Calvin was able to half a ball without adult supervision. (If his father had an extra pair of glasses with frames the size of the ball, Calvin would pop the lenses out and the ball halves in or glue the ball halves onto the lenses.)
Reminds me of the âaliensâ in The Mole People movie from the 50âs. Look at their faces, and it looks like they used 1/2 of an egg shell (extra large), except they cut a hole in the middle so they could see!!
I wonder which State they live in where school teachers work on the day before New Yearâs Day? Donât they have to prepare the onion seeds on their Rose Bowl parade float?
Thats a pretty good idea, I wonder if I could get away with it on a video conference call? So far I have had to make do with sunglasses or a happy avatar.
Where I worked there were plastic safety glasses available everywhere and everybody had a second pair which they had drawn weird stuff on with magic markers. Occasionally a group would put theirs on and to into someoneâs office or lab for a laughâŠ.great fun.
Believe it or not this is a meditation technique which creates a blank âganzfeldâ in your field of vision. After a while you start to imagine seeing things. DONâT try this standing up. :)
Now Calvin looks like Bart Simpson, which is not a good look to emulate. But it does pose a questionâŠ.. which kid would have the upper hand to get away with what they do?

This plan works great for boys in cartoon strips but not those in real life.

Real life says, heâll cut himself. Ping pong balls are tough. I speak from experience.

Obsessed with school? Calvin does not look Asian. Then again, are there any children of color at Calvinâs school?

Then the next day, the fire alarm sounds. Calvin is sitting there staring into space while the rest of the class evacuates.
