Where’s PIGITA?

When I was in Navy boot camp back in the early 50s we had to get up every day at 5:30 A. M. except for Sundays when we could “sleep in” until 6 A. M. It’s funny how we really looked forward to Sundays just because of that. It’ all relative.

Call Goat for a little upliftment, Pig.

I look at it this way … I’m delighted to get out of bed in the morning. There are lots of folks who can’t!

Sounds good to me.

I’ve had that option for 17 years. I’ve never used it. There’s always something to do that can make you feel good. Something as mundane as doing a load of laundry or sweeping the kitchen gives me a small sense of accomplishment. It’s not conquering Gaul, but it beats being unconscious -which is our last (and permanent) destination. “Happiness is a low threshold of whoopee” !

Returning to bed is an INSPIRATIONAL goal.

Most.

Some days just need to start with a long nap.

Cows may come, and cows may go, but the bull goes on forever!

He should at least be inspired to get a new pen. He and Rat are a mess every time they write anything.

This has been eating at me for a while, now:

Whenever Pig or Rat are shown using a pen, they always end up with ink smeared on their heads. How on Earth could that happen to anyone? I mean, besides having Pastis draw them that way.

Yah, it would be so nice, if only. “Today has been canceled; go back to bed.”

Gotta agree with Pig. When the well has run dry, it doesn’t do any good to repeatedly lower the bucket….

Until your back says ’that’s a bloody stupid idea’. Nothing is perfect.
