Dad does not appreciate art

Hey, He is keeping out of trouble and not making noise. This is a good thing.

He should at least be happy Calvin is outside doing stuff.He always wants Calvin to go outside and run around.But he doesn’t like when Calvin does his snow art, it’s not like it’s going to be there forever, snow melts.At least making snow art keeps Calvin busy and happy.That man must REALLY hate creativity.

But he has already done so much…

This reminds me of the old Sesame Street singsong, “One of these snowmen is not like the others. One of these is not the same. Can you find the one who is different from the others? Oh, oh, which one can it be?”

I love Calvin’s snow art. What a pity Dad does not appreciate it

Dad, he’s building skills he’ll need later in life!

You have to keep in mind that Calvin existed in the time before the internet, and that this is how you used to build a following back then.

It keeps him out in the fresh air, Dad. Some parents are never content.

Calvin’s imagination. For us first of February on a Wednesday snow, then later each Thursday snow with past Thursday lighter snow, and now next week warming up touch of summer. January and February roller coaster weather, next week not roller coaster weather.

What else can you do with snow everywhere?

You seem to be a genius, son. I’m going to arrange for you to have a private teacher, who will give you triple the homework you have now.

That was my thought all along the snowman arc.

I would be proud of my grandchildren if they did something that creative. Face it. Dad is boring.

Dad’s big fear is that the neighbors will talk.

And not so coincidentally, the housing prices take another dip.

I’ve always admired Calvin’s snowman talent. The mouths in particular are well-sculpted.
