Big Yeti lives. He did not die

Pat Patton asks his questions then

What’s the plan? What’s your next move?

Of the crimes he and Sam shall prove.

He’s guessing it’s Yeti just from the M.O. What I’m wondering is, what is his plan? I have no idea.

The noose is way wide now but slowly creaking to a close fit around the known players, with one yet to be discovered.

That’s a nice touch by team Tracy to place a tribute picture in the bottom left panel of the poor dude who tried to binge read the last three years of the strip!

I heard he went mad!!!

We’re getting used to Shelly’s Tracy, but it might take a bit longer to get used to her Patton!

Tracy’s plan is to do some dental work on Sam and send him in undercover to infiltrate Yeti’s organization as “Groundhog” Sam.

Tracy: “Plan? I don’t need no steenkeen’ plan. I’ll just wait until everything works out through against-the-odds good luck and phenomenally unbelievable coincidences. Doughnut, Chief?”

Isn’t it a stretch to tie in a hit and run on a police car to the murder of Moran? It was a pouring rain…you mean to tell that the officers in this vehicle had E.S.P. and deduced Ferret and Ape were leaving the scene of a crime?

Will Tracy’s plan involve Wendy Winchell? It seems like she is always chasing a story.

Nah…probably not…MCU cannot control her….she won’t stick to the script.

At first I thought Pat was looking at a picture of Archie Andrews.

When Tracy’s plan works out in the end will Pat remove a cigar from his mouth and say “I love it when a plan comes together”?

Real cool images today . I don’t know what else to say about todays cartoon except that it is really well done . There is just something missing and I’m not sure what is is ? I know ! , Daisy is missing : )

The gang war sort of explains who is hitting Yeti’s clients and why Moran had a large stock of poison on hand. ‘Sort of’ in the sense that who fights a gang war with poison that must be injected? We weren’t shown the dart guns. Even if we were shown the dart guns they are less effective than regular guns (no semi-automatics). And Yeti would have a clue on who was murdering his clients rather than jumping to the bizarre idea his henchlings were to blame.

Weren’t Yeti’s original products nerve toxins that were inhaled rather than injected? And apparently they were more or less undetectable because he’d been doing it for years without being discovered until the perfume bottle ended up at the boutique?

Sam looks at the person who is in silence, not the one who is speaking… peculiar

I’m POSITIVE that tracy has rock solid, irrefutable proof that Yeti is not only alive, but ALSO involved in Moran’s murder…..doesn’t he?

1-CHIEF: Hmmm, looks like they dropped corned beef and cabbage from the menu…

2-DT: How could a restaurant named O’Charley’s drop a signature Irish dish…

3-…Something’s not right, I tell ya.

4-CHIEF: Your instincts are spot on as usual, Tracy. Both of you get over there and look into it…

5-…and bring me back a wee burger and fries – by noon! DIS – MISSED!

The text seems to indicate that Lt. Clayton didn’t wait for back-up, not a very smart thing to do when you’re going after a suspect who’s wanted for murder.

I can’t remember the last time Tracy suspected the wrong person. I find this intriguing.

Before he became police chief, Pat Patton was Tracy’s partner in crime investigations. At the time he was drawn with black spots for eyes, like the character Dondi.

Chief Patton and I are on the same page, Our Chief of Detectives and Head of the MCU has all these little tidbits of clues that he is trying to tie together in a convincing fashion..So, now, what is his plan? And I think Tracy’s ever-present sidekick, Sam, to judge from his facial expressions, also has the same question….

Tune in tomorrow, when the flying monkeys and daleks enter into things and a merry time is had by all!

I can’t quite figure out the lay-out of the Chief’s office, You’d figure his desk would face the door, with the back to the window. However, in Panel 2 Tracy & Sam are standing in front of the Chief’s desk with a solid wall behind them. So, his desk faces a wall?
