Steph, you need to keep comments like that to yourself. saying things like that in front of the millions of people world wide is a slap in the face of all the hard working people trying very hard too support their families in these tough times.

The characters don’t even have jobs. Why would they want to retire early?

I have to draw my money from an ATM. The characters in PBS are having their money drawn by Pastis.

If you don’t work enough you can’t retire, if my stay at home mom wants social security with my dad she is going to have to get a job again for at least half a year before then.

There are a bunch of people outside my school protesting masks. It’s nice to see that the circus is still doing performances during COVID.

Sadly, due to the constant need to pee & habit of rising early for several decades, sleeping late eludes most of us.

Says this old lady awake since 4am. By afternoon, yes, I need a nap. And if I don’t keep physically moving, probably before afternoon.

    Plus, just b/c I don’t have a paycheck doesn’t mean I don’t work.

Pig could become an influencer on TikTok. Then he could live his dream.

Pig is paid well by Pastis to be in this strip. Pig gets offers all the time by other strips to leave, but Pastis keeps matching those offers.

Wow this hits close to home. For the first few weeks of my recent retirement my weekdays were sort of just like every weekend used to be. A lot of loafing. Then becoming part time caregiver to an elderly parent changed things a lot.
