Steph, you need to keep comments like that to yourself. saying things like that in front of the millions of people world wide is a slap in the face of all the hard working people trying very hard too support their families in these tough times.

If you don’t work enough you can’t retire, if my stay at home mom wants social security with my dad she is going to have to get a job again for at least half a year before then.

Sadly, due to the constant need to pee & habit of rising early for several decades, sleeping late eludes most of us.

Says this old lady awake since 4am. By afternoon, yes, I need a nap. And if I don’t keep physically moving, probably before afternoon.

Plus, just b/c I don’t have a paycheck doesn’t mean I don’t work.

My late husband used to say “If you’re known for being the hardest working person in town and your life is the same as everyone else’s then you’re a fool.”

I’m retired and that is literally what I do most days. I also ride my motorcycle.

Working hard is… well, hard. Especially with a virus out there out to get you.

Wow this hits close to home. For the first few weeks of my recent retirement my weekdays were sort of just like every weekend used to be. A lot of loafing. Then becoming part time caregiver to an elderly parent changed things a lot.

At this point in my life, I think I could easily retire but, as I’ve said “Where else can I get this level of abuse?”

It often felt like that.

Pig pretty much envisions the retirement I live. But, once upon a time, I did IMHO work hard….
