I’m sure Wendy will be thrilled.

Darn I liked Echo! But I don’t think much of a girl making such an ultimatum:-/ she’s certainly not offering to give up her pet & i wonder how she’d respond if it was Norman issuing the same ultimatum?!

As it is she’s just being overly dramatic anyway because Wally is Ralph’s dog technically and pretty much a family pet. Certainly she doesn’t expect Ralph or the rest of the family to give up their pet for her?

How about a compromise, Wally goes back to Dad, and you go to he11? Actually I’m sure they can work something out. true love will find a way.

Sorry, badgers are wild animals, not domesticated pets.

And so we see how Kevin arranges it for Norman to mess this one up too…making his way back to getting spurned by Wendy…

Well, the relationship was great…while it lasted. I have never met anyone who chose a human over a loyal dog. Unfortunately humans are not known to have unconditional love the way a dog does. A dog will not lie to you, won’t stab you in the back, won’t steal from you, and NEVER walks away when you are at your lowest point in your life. Dogs have a free pass into Heaven, humans have to run the gauntlet, and don’t always make the grade. Dogs ALWAYS make it in.

No girl who disliked doxies would ever be on my radar.

There was a similar situation in the SciFi story “A Boy and His Dog” …. It got resolved. They ate the girlfriend.

An ultimatum! Bad sign…

Dump that girl, and take wally for a treat. There are plenty of girls that adore doggies.

Back when Garfield was funny, there was a similar cartoon. “And she was cute, too.”

Although I like Echo, the decision should be easy. Only one of them is a bi#ch.

Who is Wally’s owner? Norman or Ralph? The whole question may be a non-starter.

No problemo, Norman. Your initial attraction to Wendy was well-placed. Echo is a poor substitute for smart-cookie Wendy. Truth be told, Wendy misses you a lot. She will secretly be pleased to have you back admiring her. People generally like being admired. Echo has let you (and us) know her true nature: dull and controlling. Sayonara Echo.

Adios badger girl. No woman is worth your dog.

I had a friend whose boyfriend couldn’t stand her riding horses and spending time with them. When he said “Me or the horses”, she went straight to shop for a new pair of horse riding boots. Lovely wise choice, IMO.

Does anyone here follow Family Circus? Anyone know what has been going on with them, lately? It didn’t post anything for Feb 8 & 9, then they did for 10-14. The last one is Feb 14. I sent them an email, asking what was going on, but have not received a reply yet. It’s been several days.

There’s an easy compromise, Wally doesn’t visit anymore.

I sense this is the end of Echo and Norman. And good luck finding someone that likes badgers, Echo.

Never give a guy a ultimatum between his dog and a woman

“Don’t badger me, Echo.”

Never go with the person who gives you the ultimatum of abandoning your pet for them.

Wally is a family dog, but Norman is such that if he married Echo, they’d probably very at Norman’s parents.
