I had a credit card that gave reward points for air travel based upon the number of miles flown. Every time I took a trip, my statement would read “home-away, away-home total 0 miles=0 points”. It was frustrating having to complain all of the time.
I find it very difficult to understand how every seat on an airplane costs a different amount of fare when they all transport you the same distance at the same speed.
