According to Lewis Carroll, “frumious” is a portmanteau of “fuming” and “furious.”

It’s much more “cartoony,” but I like that Tatulli based his drawing of the Jabberwock on Tenniel’s original.

Those snax seem not to be frumiating at all. If I ask for frumious, I’m expecting fire and smoke.

I recognized the Frumious Bandersnatch immediately from the original. It pays to be well read.

’Twas brillig and the slithy tothes did gyre and gimble in the wabe—but not before having a frumious argument with autocorrect.

Looks more like a Jabberwock than a Bandersnatch.

I believe that “Jabberwocky” is an adjective. The creature is a “Jabberwock”. The Tim Burton movie got this wrong (for this mistake I blame the screenwriter, Linda Woolverton, who certainly had a strong vision for the retelling but seems to me not to have been a very strong Carroll scholar). My advice: read the original, a classic that rewards repeated rereading.
