I hate it when that happens to me but nobody believes me.

I always did wonder as a kid, and as a grown man come to think of it, what happened to Robot Calvin. I know subjective reality of the strip and all that but in calvin’s mind where DID that robot go?

I see the flaw in his story… he was abducted in his pajamas, but the robot they built was in his clothes. That’s why she doesn’t believe you, Calvin.

I love how Watterson created an alien alphabet. See the text on the side of the spaceship?

If it really did happen, she would never notice the difference.

Last night I had such a horrible night and I feared to die and fly away!

Love Cal’s fantasies. If a little boy grew up to do all the things he’s dreamed, his life would be a continuous adventure. Not always in his favor but still fun.

The problem with a good fantasy is getting others to buy into it. I suppose bitcoin didn’t have that problem quite soon enough.

I always loved how Watterson could tell a story just with his art and not a word needed to be said.

What a thrill it must be to raise kids inthis day and age,guess that’s why ilike dogs!!! Wooof woof to all of you !!!

Parents will remain incredulous of such things.

I’m unsure why but I hear Flip Wilson saying, “The Devil made me do it” when I see that final panel.

She would have spotted the replacement as being suspiciously calm. :)

Thirty years old and still brilliant. This is why C & H, Mr Thompson’s (Cul de Sac, Richard’s Poor Almanac) and Kliban’s work are at the top of my list here.

I’d love to have Hobbes’ take on all this.

Ah, one of the best pleasures of my Sunday morning is coming here to see a brilliant Calvin + Hobbes Sunday strip each week. Watterson was such a genius.

Heh, I like how in the second panel it almost looks like daytime. And I always thought the tenth panel looked so funny ever since I was a kid (because there was no way I wanted to do that!)

I appreciate that the Sunday strip actually comes out on Sunday!

My Nephew was born in 1980, making him close to Calvin’s age. His Dad nicknamed him “Destructo” when he was a toddler. He is now married 11 years, and has 4 kids……what goes around, comes around.

One of his more psychotic episodes.
