Honeymoon looks a bit suspicious of Grandpa Thorin sending her away from his private talk with Tracy. At least we finally get confirmation that Thorin only had good intentions in inviting H. and M. to New Moon Valley. He hadn’t anticipated them getting into any danger, but they were smart enough to stay on the sidelines at the hangar.
There’s a weird white vertical line beside Tracy’s ear. It looks like a graphics glitch of some kind. I wonder how that got there.
thought the LoonAryan arc was over, but evidently not… and why is Thorin flying a coupe armed with cannons still attached to them?… you would think that he would have had them deactivated, dismantled and removed on at least the coupe transporting Dick and family back home… is there more to the story than we suspected, possibly?… and does it involve Thorin?…
OK, WHY is the Space Coupe still armed? If they didn’t have time to disarm this one (would seem like a bit of a priority for a “Peaceful” community) why aren’t they using the space coupe that Thorin and Tracy had their meeting in? If it had been armed, you would think ONE of them would have noticed it. Reverse Engineer that ring Tracy….NEVER Trust the In-Laws!
….the large guns (an embellishment courtesy of the recently dispatched Ro-Zan) now protruding out of the Space Coupe’s front look ominous……Thorin seems to be looking right at the right side gun in P3………..
Starting morrow: JUST US LUNAR GUYS. A heart-warming new direction in DICK TRACY, where a lunar official moves to Muncie and pens a struggling ice cream parlor/hardware store.
In our first episode, “The Tooth Will Out”, chortle to the unbridled wackiness as the wrong kind of nuts get onto Mayor Bubba’s sundae!
It looks like Thorin landed in a forest or near one…did Junior know their return date? And is he driving to pick them up? Maybe the lines being referred to might be shadowing from the moon…Thorin probably is standing in its path. No wonder shadows do not appear on him.
Thorin’s heart was in the right place in regard to bringing Honeymoon and Mysta to NMV. He just didn’t think it through in advance, typical of his gruff, impetuous ways. Being in the company of Tracy, however, has helped temper his fiery ways, at least for now. But those heavy ray cannons, installed on all the hangared Space Coupes, may remain a sore point (hence the visual emphasis in panel 3)….

Great artwork, but Thorin is becoming real tiresome.

Wonder if that’s the pine forest where ugly crystal got lost in the snowstorm after running away from the raid on bribery’s “offices”

I just noticed that the Govassador’s left eyebrow is slightly lower in panel 3. A very serious artistic offense that needs to be addressed! LOL!

I don’t see that white line in my browser. The closest thing I see is the border between panels.Who is aiming that (ray?) gun at whom?

No pun intended, I can sense a new storyline brewing. No…it will not involve escargot coffee.

1-DT (_still groggy from the knockout shot): Whoa, dude. I can see everything! Where are we?
2-THOR-IN: Sorry I had to park miles from civilization but fortunately you’re all dressed appropriately for a long hike through the wilderness.
3-THOR-IN: Just between me and you, Tracy, I don’t trust Mysta. I’m going to have to use that ray gun to turn her into Bar-B-Que.
DT: Whoa, dude! I could go for some of that right now! I feel like I haven’t had anything but snails and penguin meat for weeks. Say…where are we?
THOR-IN: Geez. Just go stand by Mysta, would ya?
