oh, how some students don’t look forward to picture day

Go change clothes, Mike, STAT! Your children and grandchildren will see those photos…

No matter how nice you look in person, you won’t in the photo anyway.

Ah, yes, school picture day when the girls come all dressed up with their hair professionally styled, and the boys come looking like they do every day.

You know those kids who show such disrespect for themselves and their parents that they want to make themselves look terrible on picture day? Well, I never did; but apparently one of them is Michael Patterson. It looks like he was rolling in the dirt with Farley.

Just wait till you get your military ID picture taken. Then you will look like a terrorist. And not at all like yourself. And ‘they’ expect for that card to get you pass security check-points?

Saint Michael has always had that deformed head.

I have seen some stranger school photo’s, too.

Looks like Michael is one of those entitled teenage slobs so often depicted in the comics (“Zits”, “Hi and Lois”, “Red and Rover”, etc.).

In Mexico, the 1st of November is the special day of the dead day. They dress up as their dead ancestors. Michael seems to take interest here in that custom. Although Canada is not Mexico, we are both in the North American Free Trade alliance, so we Canadians respect their traditions.

Ugh. I never liked my school picture, but now that I think about it, I don’t think I’ve seen any of those photographs since the year they were taken. Not sorry.

Then there are passport photos.

My husband thought that he would take our younger daughter’s senior yearbook picture, using his phone. She also has to have it done at school for student IDs. My husband’s picture came out FAR, FAR better than the professionals!

Makes me wonder how many of the above naysayers have their school pictures hung in their homes, apartments etc for others to see. They seem sooo important to some and in fact have little to no real meaning in real life.

School photos are a great chronology of how your looks changed every year from cute, to dorky, to good looking

It’ll be good practice for future driver’s liscense and passport photos.

Heh, I like seeing “special day” in quotes. It invites the imagination to run wild.

Wrong person to tell that to. Now he won’t get out of the house without a shirt and tie.

John & Elly are not obligated to buy any of the pictures if they do not like them.

He can still wash his dish. Isn’t this a family of 5? Mom surely has other things to attend to.

Just about every job has a dress code. It is part of living in the real world, Michael.
