Finally something Calvin and I can relate to. All schools ruin our good times outside.

Youth is wasted on the young

Ah! The good old dsys!

There’s always recess.

And yet (in NOVEMBER, mind you!) I’m gonna have to snow blow over two feet of you-know-what on the driveway by Monday morning. “Come and live up here in the 1000 Islands region!”, she said. The summers are beautiful!", she said. She never mentioned these lake effect nightmares.

…… I remember when all this was fields……

Those were the days my friend we thought they’d never end we’d sing and dance forever and a day. Good to know my mind retained a few gems.

I remember when summer vacation seemed like forever. Now, three months go by in a heartbeat. (the grammar check feature is really weird these days…)

I suppose you’re never too young to regret wasting your youth. Even a newborn has to wonder why they left that nice warm home for the cold, bright, noisy place out here.

Today’s strip with Hobbes waiting with Calvin at the bus stop reminds me of a strip from last November. That was the one where Hobbes was waiting with Calvin and eating items from Calvin’s lunch box behind his back.

About five different commentators asked how Hobbes would get home with Calvin on the bus. That was the only strip to actually answer that question as it showed Hobbes walking away from Calvin in the third panel and Calvin on the bus on the fourth panel. Calvin seemed puzzled that his lunchbos was lighter than usual.

Some readers pay little attention to the strips that they comment on.

We ALL think the good times will last forever.

Currently in college and watching the years slip by.

What Calvin isn’t realizing yet is that not only are the good old days gone, but statistically speaking, it will probably get worse.

Yep, I remember not really enjoying fall when I was in public school. Once I graduated and started college, I started liking fall a lot better. (Fall and spring are my two favorite seasons.)

Hold on, yesterday he got a hair cut, and today his hair is back! How fast does this kid’s hair grow?

Never mind Calvin, you have spent only six years and you have ample time to enjoy the mornings till your hormones levels kick in and you start chasing that little girl next door.
