Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
They should just put the NFL on every night of the week. They seem to be trending that way anyway. The ratings would be the same, just spread out a little.
My fathers best friend was like this. He’d boot us off our own TV to watch a game. And he was a jerk, he refused to sign his retirement benefits over to his wife because he had terminal cancer and didn’t care what happened after he was dead.
So odd, last night was to be world serious, I had a different channel on, my sister called to watch this prime time show same channel she informed me there was a rerun of a prime time program we watch. Not certain of the rest of the week as I will be watching a different channel for prime time not world serious. Also where I live at weather was great, we did not do Halloween handing out candy to children, what I am hearing number’s was way down, we’ve not asked neighbors across the street. Trunk a Treat is popular, plus there is east side block party does more on Halloween, there was children there. How many did some of you have last night. Not certain need to mention state.
Meh. Haven’t watched football or any other major sport in years, don’t miss it at all. Things like figure skating and X Games are much more entertaining and I don’t care who wins or loses.
They must live in either the Philadelphia or Houston areas. Those are the only two areas where the game will be shown on broadcast TV. Everyplace else it’s on Amazon Prime which would not require a DVR.

They’ll… starve? Just tape the game. And eat food. You won’t starve.
retrocool over 2 years ago
but if he doesn’t watch, the amount of streamers for the game will be close to zero.

In the long run, both he and Zoe will be glad he went to the recital. Missing something like that would give Zoe too much leverage later in life.
(Dad: You’re not wearing that to the prom, young lady.
Zoe: Remember 10 years ago when you missed my recital and stayed home to watch a football game?
Dad: Fine, but I want you home by half time young lady.)

They are only young once, Darryl! And there are always more games to come!

Darryl, jerry, rick….its 2022. Just get Amazon or ESPN plus. Whichever has Thursday games.

Watch it on your phone. Won’t be the same as a 85" screen but at least you get to see it.

So view it on your cell phone. You just have to keep the volume down, keep out of sight of Wanda, and no cheering or groaning over plays or ref calls.

Get NFL Redzone: get to see all of the games (at least the scoring parts) – and go to your daughter’s recital.

The Thursday Night game is Texans vs. Eagles. As a Texans fan, trust me when I say you won’t be missing much.

The only times my husband missed any of our daughters’ concerts or shows was because he couldn’t get the night off.

And this Hammie is your first lesson on women. They will always expect you to do something the day of the big game. Welcome to life.

Hammie’s head is of comparable size to Darryl’s schnozzola.

TNF tends to have horrible matchups plus the fact that you can only watch on Amazon Prime makes it miss able.

Skycam has ruined watching football anyway.

If you can FIND Thursday night football, relegated to obscure cable channels or ultra-expensive “special” channels.
Skip The Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.

Football. I haven’t watched a game since 1999. I got tired of the “showboating” players and the stupid rules.

Go to the recital but tell Wanda you’re going to skip the next five puppet shows at the library.
