Is that Lucy or Nelly? With Negative Nelly reasoning like that, you probably shouldn’t go anywhere for any reason, because who knows what might happen: you might trip on a twig, some dirt might blow in your eyes, you may get bit by a mosquito, you might get struck by lightning or a meteor from the sky …

But if you go to Needles now, (it will take some time to get to Needles you know), you’ll miss Veterans Day with your War Buddies. For tomorrow it the 11th. Remember that on the Eleventh hour, on the Eleventh day, on the Eleventh month the shooting stopped in 1918. The British call it Remembrance Day. Here in the U.S. we call it Veterans Day. I don’t know what the French or the Germans call it. Both both those countries plus the British Empire/Commonwealth and the Italians, lost a whole generation of young men in that war. We in the U.S., came in late to the war, (2 1/2 years after it had started), so we didn’t loose so many men as the others did. It should have been the War to End All Wars. But we humans have thick heads and don’t learn things very well.

Banana nose? It looks more like an eggplant to me.

If I were Snoopy, I’d head out to Needles even faster…if nothing else, just to get away from Lucy!

He’ll also run into a horse with no name, and get a peaceful, easy feeling.

So let him get lost in the desert. Why is Lucy trying to ruin a good thing?

Why does Lucy always say that Snoopy’s nose looks like a banana? It clearly doesn’t.

Dear Snoopy, I beg you not to go to Needles, those Coyotes are a shifty bunch, If you do bump into a cacti, they will call you “Needle Nose”.

drove past Needles AZ this fall. I told my sweetheart, OH LOOK Needles! He asked, “what about it” I told him “that’s where Snoopy’s brother lives” How does he not know these things?

Don’t forget your water dish.

I’ve gotten lost in the dessert, on more than one occasion
