I would not to be around Earl either.

I cooked my meal tonight. A more than fair amount of garlic in the dish. After the meal I picked up my pup and sat down. She promptly dashed away to “Mom”.

I was tempted to write something seemingly vulgar that dogs do, but I doubt Earl is limber enough at his age, if ever…

Just afraid of what might come next. . . that you always blame on the dog.

As we get older, we make more embarrassing noises. I wish we didn’t but, there’s not much to do about it.

Things ARE bad when you annoy and make the dog leave.

Friend had a Boston Bulldog whose out-gassing could clear a room. He enjoyed snuggling next to guests to nap, which they enjoyed, but he occasionally let out a cloud of ‘processed fuel’ that cost him the new friendship.

One good fart and Earl would have covered all the bases.

I just sent this one to my husband. He will SO not be amused. I was.

That sounds like me in the morning.

A sneeze and my cat is somewhere else.

are they smelly ones?

If you blame your dog when you fart, he will quickly learn to leave the room when he hears that noise.

You tell him Earl……..woof!

I don’t get it … just a normal day for this dude of 79, minus the smelly part.

I was worse then that in December starts as sneezing and runny nose, then change fast to infection as in sinus infection, so bad I had to cancel my birthday plans last day of December, son missed two days of work on antibiotic same thing, husband and daughter had chest colds. I was on two different antibiotics. Even our dogs was not as bad.

Not least of which is farting in my face!

If I sneeze, my dog jumps down at the sound, and sometimes I sneeze 10-12 times in a row. She also is iffy if I open a can of soda/pop. She is doing better on that one, it was just a new sound to her. If she farts, I pretend not to notice. If I am actually sick, which has happened twice in the 6 years I have had her, she won’t leave me for anything. Ditto when I had knee surgery.

I had a dog, pre-beagle, who would silently fart so badly that she would suddenly get up and leave, and I would follow her before I couldn’t breathe either. I even had her tested for thyroid issues, because she just generally smelled bad. I never knew what her breed was and never found out why she smelled bad. I could take her to a groomer, and before we got home, she just smelled bad. No farting needed. She was a most excellent dog, though. Miss her every day!
