OH my god this only gets better every day. Coach is confronted with the fact he made it all about his supervillian obession with coach thrope.. but in classic supervillian fashion he can only hear the gil thorpe part of that.

Tired storyline, but at least the drawings of the NASCARS are pretty realistic.

Yeah, I love that Gil’s middle name is back. I think he should always be referred to with his full name like this. And speaking of referring, I’d like to refer you to today’s Mopped Up Thorp.

Wow. Rush hour in Milford is something else!

I think the girls wrestling team may still like him but who goes to a car race to discuss there problems.

So…we’re at a stock car race, which has never been seen before is this strip. (There’s a NASCAR track in/near Milford? And they’re racing in February, before Daytona?) They’re talking about football as if that season’s just concluded, and that basketball hasn’t started yet, even though, it’s, y’know, February. And the dialogue is so awful and stilted that it barely passes the Turing test; no self-respecting ChatBot would talk this way. Oh, and it’s been almost three weeks since we’ve seen a Milford hoops contest.What a drag.

It almost wasn’t to be, but Luke’s big, hairy hand makes a late appearance in P3.

I do have to give RW some credit for the excellent facial expressions on Lukey and how well he captures his bi-polar behavior. From an empathic, wide-eyed parent in P2 to a surly maniac obsessed with vengeance. Well done.

Doesn’t everyone go to an auto race to have an important conversation? After all, it’s such a quiet place to talk and so few people are around.

Yesterday Luke’s hat had a Chevy logo that was black with gold trim; today the colors are reversed.

So, we have a Moby Dick thing going and Hairy is Ahab to Gils white whale…plus Romeo and Juliette with their kids.

And there’s Breaking Bad with WokeToBe…

I kinda expect there’s a Game of Thrones subtext somewhere…could Keri be Arya Stark and her bully be Cirsie (I can’t spell)?

If so I’d just about pay to see Keri go on a revenge spree.
