In my young plugger days, nobody talked about getting tattoos.

And you are a really ancient plugger if you ask to borrow some ink for your fountain pen. I remember my mother had one of those, a real mess for kids.

Also when the neighbor lady asks you if you’d like to see her new tats.

Your spell checker must be turned off or else that last word would give a whole new meaning to the sentence.

Have computer inkjet printers been around so long they’re in Plugger territory now? Wow, it seems not that long ago when I bought my first computer and printer, and puzzled my parents that I bought a mouse and mouse pad.

This is the kind of thing I would expect to see on those snotty “Avoid Acting Like Your Parents” Progressive commercials.

Because printer ink is expen$ive! Even worse are those printers that won’t print because the cyan cartridge is “empty”… even if you’re just trying to print a black and white letter.

I have long wanted to get a tattoo but strongly believing in the bible I take Leviticus 19:28 and 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 to heart.

I see these old folks getting tattoos. Do they realize how wrinkled they’ll become?

When my neighbor was a high school French teacher, he talked about getting a tattoo of the Eiffel Tower on his appendage.

I don’t have any tattoos and won’t get one. I see some folks who are covered with them and I wonder if they’ll regret their choices later in life.

Never got drunk enough to get one when I was in the service. I’m 82 now and still don’t have one. Now my grandsons is another story.

Where does that leave me if for about 20 seconds after reading this I was wondering why he was talking about his ink jet printer. I thought that was the joke: typewriter v ink jet printer.

Does that make me a plugger-in-training?

Danny Trejo got into acting because an actor friend asked him to come along one day to a movie set. Somebody saw his impressive tattoo and asked if he wanted to be an extra. "An extra what? he said. He quickly became a star with his rough, tough appearance. He continues to help others transition from prison life to life on the outside. I recently saw him profiled on PBS’s “Finding Your Family Roots”. He’s had a remarkable life.

I foolishly got a tattoo of a heart with a fiance’s name. I didn’t worry about it, because I had a friend who had some tattoos lasered off for maybe $100. (This was many years ago, lol). Imagine my dismay when the relationship ended and I found out that the bright red ink plus the location over my sternum (breastbone) would make it impossible to do anything but remove the tattoo surgically and place skin grafts! (To the tune of thousands of dollars, not payable by insurance company, and rightly so for an idiot like me). Tattoo is still there to this day, and it hasn’t faded a single bit!

A question. Why is it that great looking women want to mess up those great looking looks with tattoos?
