    Salutatioms, Winged Ghouls!

Our coppers are playing catch up it would seem. Our criminal doesn’t have just one robbery under his belt, he has at least two that we know of. I may be way off, but I have the feeling the little boy in panel 2 may be our robber when he was a little game player. Remember, I called it. :D

    Good morning™, everyone!

As Tarry Plaguer pointed out yesterday, you can see the Shenanighoul, outside of his usual haunted house, more clearly at about 27 minutes into the video I posted yesterday. Here it is again:

On a sadder note, Al Jaffee passed away Like all great cartoonists, he could make you both laugh & think at the same time..

Slightly off topic, Al Jaffee, best known for creating the Mad Fold-In for Mad magazine has died at the age of 102. The first one appeared in 1964, the same year that Shenanigans appeared. It was supposed to be a one-off, but he continued to do them for 55 years, due to popular demand. Here’s an obituary:

The game show host’s body looks very disportionate, Tracy somehow lost his tie, BUT he gained an extra finger on his left hand!

What a horrendous day by Shelley!

Oh oh, I’d better watch my back! LOL!

    Good morning™, nostalgic remembrances !

This one has already veered off into the super sillious. I like how dick’s sour puss shows his “here we go again” unwillingness. Might be time for Dicky to retire or go on reduced hours.

    From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

You can tell by Dick’s face in the final panel the withering contempt he holds this guy in. “Remember when my rogues gallery consisted of people with horrible scars or mutations, and perpetrating violence was the thing they loved most of all? Well, now I’m going up against a guy who’s into [extremely heavy sigh] classic game shows.”

1-SAM: You don’t stand a chance against Walter. DT: That reminds me…did I ever tell you about…

2- …the time I was on a kid show when I was little? SAM: ARRRRGHHHH! NOT ANOTHER ALL DAY STORY!!

DT: I had 2 chances to find the number “3” on the board. That SOB must’ve rigged the game. Anywho…

3- …Does anybody know anything about this? SAM: Ummm, (looks around the room) LEE is working it. Yeah, you should ask her about it. LIZ: But I thought… SAM: LOOKOUT! IT’S WALTER! Oh. Just a pigeon… DT: DANG IT SAM! Now I gotta change my pants!

So, the bank robbers must have watched Shenanigans when they were children. Gameboy is going to collect a harvest of publicity.

The Shenanighoul costume from the game show kind of looks like a 60’s kaiju called Gappa. It also kind of looks like the Mahar costumes from At the Earth’s Core, a movie starring Dough McClure and Peter Cushing.
