Earl your song is better. I like KitKat candy.

If you put a KitKat bar and mittens in a warm copper kettle, you’ll have hard to clean mittens and candy with fiber.

I don’t mind people going around singing/humming/whistling especially bc it usually means they’re in a good mood but my mother in law does it and I have to agree with Earl bc she sings SO loud!

My husband’s family & mine went to the same church growing up & it was a large congregation (around 120-150 usually) but you could always hear her singing above everyone else & the music! & bring earplugs if you’re gonna be trapped in the car with her lol in the confined space she’ll have your ears ringing singing Celine Dion at the top of her lungs!

Earl certainly isn’t cultured with Rodgers and Hammerstein.

Whenever I’d get so frustrated at work that I was ready to snap, I’d whistle. Patients would comment on how nice it was to have such a cheerful nurse, and I’d think, “if only you knew!”

Opal kind of made a wish. She kind of got her wish – just not the way she wished for it. This is a reminder to be careful what you wish for.

For some, singing is self soothing, a very necessary method to heal and comfort from CPTSD and people tend to shut us down. People say that I have a lovely voice and ask me to sing for them but when I’m self soothing I get; “Why did you choose that song?” “Sing something we all know!” "Who says that that is a Christmas song? or the ever narcissistic “You’re doing it wrong!” I was actually told I wasn’t aloud to sing as a child so my brother would wait outside of my bedroom door, the other side of the house, downstairs from his room, and tattle if I tried to sing.

LOLOL — I can definitely hear my grandparents in this …
