I have not observed that bullies of this age have any ability at all to understand direct consequences, much less two levels of indirection such as this.

I’d consider New Age bullying now to be “My dad can out-troll your Dad on social media!”

He just took it to a whole new level.

So which is the bully? The one about to smash the sandcastle or the one giving fair warning.

When I was growing up someone destroying your sand castle or something similar was not unusual. Parents mostly stayed out of our play time. We survived and went on to lead well adjusted, successful, and happy lives.

Graduating bullies holler insults at the invited commencement speaker.

The real revenge is we, the “nerds” ended up with far better educations, jobs, lives, and health outcomes on the average.

As any bully will tell you, “Who cares. This feels good now.”

It is only a ‘limited’ beach sand exercise.

Suggest to the bully that he’s doing that because he can’t build a castle half that good. If the challenge takes, he might just see a new way to go. If not, get your own rock.

If you still beat people up, maybe being a lawyer isn’t the job for you

Bullies rarely understand the consequences of their actions, and can’t understand why they get slammed by decent people.

60 years ago we used to say, “my dad’s a lawyer and he can sue you!”

something about assault & battery (even if between 12 y.o.s, it’s still a felony), a cop car pulled up to his house, and talked to the parents. entire neighborhood watched. seems the school and a couple local businesses had gotten involved as well. kid’s working on his ticket to prison looks like. their dog isn’t any better trained, either.

Yeah, but my Dad actually pays his lawyers.

Stupid is as stupid does regardless of the quality of their lawyer.

Three or four firm slaps on the behind and he will get the point. And be honest, most if not all of us here had that growing up and there’s not one serial killer in the bunch. Spank, not beat.

You must mean, “Out-Litigate”…
