Life was great for women when toxic men were the majority. Oppression. Sexism. Yeah, miss those days. Of course, Mr Kelly, being a man, knows exactly what women want. No need to ask or listen to the answers. He knows best. /s
So, I must be hallucinating when seeing all the women marching; all the women voting for abortion rights; all the mothers standing up for their trans children.
I think one problem for men today is if you don’t want to be John Wayne you have to be Josh Hawley, or worse or the person in the ’toon. In our cultural vise we have lost sight of/demonize/crminialize/berate/andonandon just being people allowing others to be individuals without approving/disapproving/changing.
Always curious to me, why does it seem that so many men are threatened by men who don’t “act like men”? If they were correct in their criticisms, wouldn’t the lack of competition for the he-men that they are/claim to be, mean they’ll have more “opportunity”? Or, is something else going on?
I miss the Bud Light ads of Spuds Mackenzie on the beach with some hot women following him around. Now they have a dude who dresses and acts like a 16 year-old valley girl.
Is that Mary Fallin, former Governor of Oklahoma. Known for her dalliances with the male State Security people assigned to protect her. (as well as with others) Or MTG who has had multiple affairs?
Man buns and cappuccino coffee from Starbucks while wearing those Daisey Duke shorts…Best hope these guys are never arrested. They wouldn’t make it a day…LOL…
Non-heteronormativity is an abomination to “God”(sic) and must be CANCELLED.
If this scum will not voluntarily enter the closet and silently remain there so that no one can know they exist, well, there is always Chile’s Pinochet example to follow.
They can be disappeared!
The next Republican administration will make this happen. For the good of our children. And for the family.

To all the sweet men here, just cause they call it toxic masculinity, doesn’t make it so. You don’t think some women aren’t toxic, forget about the shooter in Nashville.
I feel very sad for any woman who actually does miss toxic masculinity. Codependency is unhealthy. But I rather doubt this represents reality; it strikes me more as the expectation of toxic masculinity itself, convinced that women actually desire macho men so much that they’ll tolerate any amount of abuse in order to get them. But this isn’t remotely true, and honestly, as a woman I don’t see anything wrong with the man on the left.

Take your mind back, I don’t know when
Some time when it always seemed to be just us and them
Girls that wore pink and boys that wore blue
Boys that always grew up better men than me and you
What’s a man now? What’s a man mean?
Is he rough or is he rugged?
Is he cultural and clean?
Now it’s all changed, it’s got to change more
‘Cause we think it’s getting better
But nobody’s really sure
And so it goes, go ’round again,
But now and then we wonder who the real men are.
…
Man makes a gun, man goes to war
Man can kill and man can drink
And man can take a wh_re
Kill all the blacks, kill all the reds
And if there’s war between the sexes
Then there’ll be no people left
And so it goes, go ’round again,
But now and then we wonder who the real men are…

Steve, putting words in a woman’s mouth that she misses toxic masculinity says so much about you.

Some people in this country would consider this young man an enemy or a source of fear. I wonder why?
