The thing about geese, particularly Canada Geese is that they provide their own security. They’re like Bruce Banner in that way – they are always angry.

Definitely have not run out of Canada geese around here (they are everywhere and have been having families)

The only thing a goose has ever given me is a bruise in the groin.

The Wiz just got goosed.

Half a century ago I was looking through the list of “AN” designations for communications equipment in the US armed forces standards. There was a designation for carrier pigeons, but it was obsolete: they stopped using carrier pigeons altogether around the time I was born. I guess the pace of modern warfare makes them irrelevant even as backup… no more day-long standoffs.

Some day’s you just can’t write good humor.

Well, I suppose that’s what happens when your tweeter becomes a honker. Crummy message delivery over the air in the most annoying way possible.

It’s ok, Wiz! Once in a while you can hire honkers to fill in!

When we are at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, the local favorite restaurant is “Canadian Honkers”. Their specialty is Bunny Cake, which is delicious!

I wonder what they will use if they run out of toilet paper.

And the best part is these don’t even have to ring the doorbell.

How did the message go out ahead of the geese? It would need its own power source separate from the goose who had been carrying it…
