I have heard of some who used to complain about their spouse’s snoring. Then they say that they would do anything to hear it again no matter how loud it was.
My wife sings along with whatever music we are listening to in the car. I was wondering if and when the topic of missing the singing would be brought up in the strip, glad it was! :-)
That’s so sweet. I remember a woman who started her eulogy about her husband with a "he never picked up his clothes, he left all the lights on etc. But then said basically the same thing as above. It’s so true.
Well Earl as the old saying goes, if you can’t beat em, join em. So the next time Opal bursts out in song then you burst out with that beloved Rodney Carrington Song, T!tties and Beer, which can be found on Youtube in it’s entirety.
I was complaining to a widowed friend about some of my hubbies annoying habits. She said, at least he is alive. I stopped complaining and looked at the positive habits he has thankful he is still with me.
You published this on my husband’s birthday. He burst into playing piano pieces, many original, all with enthusiasm, several times a day. I can truly say it never bothered me in the 41 years we were married. But now he is in heaven.
