Whew! Glad to see this resolution, but I gotta say – given the history that Aaron has provided I was seriously stressing over a potential worse outcome!

First the tail, now the neck, saved either way.

Pheobe survived, yay. There’s a shortage of mousegirls in ET. Now we have to wait for the next ‘strip to see if that snap was the wall closing or her neck. Even if “improbable mutant healing factor” lets her live, them (or just Alan) carrying around a girl like Weekend at Bernie’s would slow them down a bit. They have the rest of the hallways to escape.

Alan seems to be one to make the right move at the right time in moments of panic. He may appear overly cautious and even a scaredy cat. but, when action is needed….

I really hope that SNAP is the wall filling in and not what would now be a very bendy neck O_O…

I was nervous about this update to see if Phoebe survived the trap.

Actually, looking at the fourth panel again, I’ll have to ask just how he’s pulled her out. Her hands are by her sides so she’s not holding his trunk. So, it would seem the other option is that he had to wrap his trunk around her neck and pull. Wow! As soon as she gets her breath back, she’ll say thank you!
