I had the opposite experience when I visited Newcastle and decided to take a bike trip to Durham. I thought I saw a curious angel figure in a garden somewhere in front of me, but as I was pedalling and pedalling, it didn’t seem to get any bigger for a long while, so I realised that a really huge sculpture, and much further away than I had thought at first.
It is called the Angel of the North, and I’ve later repeatedly seen it in the crime series Vera.
The Smurfs, having their village destroyed by Gargamel and pushed from the forest, escape to the 3rd-Least Enchanted Lands and are currently living in an isolated fundamentalist compound..

This is a first for Dana making a warped domain of reality where nothing makes sense.
It’s getting wicked fun and scary here.

A small town near train tracks? Imagine the shaking and noise every time a train passed by.

Would it be a bad thing to say the comic is a matter of perspective?

Let’s hope that Phoebe and Dakota don’t get the kind of reception that Lemuel Gulliver got in Lilliput.
