    Plan ahead, plant a sapling with your young’uns, when you’re gone they will be pushing their kids on a swing hung from the limbs of that sapling.

    American Woodshop, on PBS, had an episode where the host harvested an Osage Orange tree that he and his wife had planted 15 years earlier. When it came down in a windstorm, he had a portable sawmill come out and slice it up into planks, which he later made into furniture.
