B-witched, eh?

Times change but some things never change.

John says, “I remember my first love!”

Readers think, “HIs high school girlfriend.”

John thinks, “My first bicuspid removal.”

John and Elly have been married too long if they have identical thought balloons.

I knew EVERYTHING my daughter did. She would come in after a date and tell us everything. There was my husband and I, sputtering. Looking back 35 years, most of it was just silly stuff. But at the time……

Doing homework is not a date. Especially with the interruptions.

Don’t they think their parents were once kids?

My dad was a cop for over 30 years. We couldn’t keep a whole lot from him. I WAS disowned

I told my kids that I could tell them many of the things they will do or the mistakes they will eventually make, but they would never learn anything from it until they actually experienced it.

A slight goof may be found here. Usually my parents went to bed at least until 11 or 12 pm. after the nightly news and the Johnny Carson Tonight show. Shouldn’t between panel one and panel two be a caption, “A couple hours later”? Because the way it looks, the parents went to bed moments after Anthony left for home. Does that mean that Elizabeth and Anthony were “studying” in the rec room until close to midnight. Keep in mind that Elizabeth just started high school and is around age 14 or 15!

John and Elly weren’t worried about their kids alone in the basement close to midnight?Why didn’t John offer to drive Anthony home so late close to midnight? Why weren’t Anthony’s parents also worried Anthony wasn’t home so late?

Of course a simple answer could be it is only 8:30 to 9 o’clock that Anthony left for home, and John and Elly went straight to bed.

I don’t get it, John and Ell turned out awesome, what’s the problem?

The more things change, they more they stay the same.

The apple rarely falls far from the tree, but sometimes it rolls quite a distance.

Does John’s first love include vomit?

It runs in the family, of course it runs in all families, but it runs in the family John.

I keep wondering if John and Elly are remembering different circumstances(with different partners at the time)???

The older I get, the less I remember my own youthful shenanigans. That too has been a blessing.

No stupidity of yours will ever justify your sabotaging your children’s love life like you did tonight. Futhermore, I doubt Mike will ever forgive you two for exiling him to Nowhere Farms in the hope that Martha would find another guy, even if it took another eight months!
