Earl quite often gets in trouble sharing his skewed “wisdumb.”

Best lessons also do not come from watching TV.

Experience is the best teacher, I think Earl is about to have a lesson!

As much as she wears those clam diggers, and I’ve never seen a pail of clams

Earl’s review will very quickly be on “YELP!!”

Can’t sit that close to a big screen TV-like sitting in the first row of a movie theater besides the TV puts out a lot of heat.

Earl also said yesterday, most of those experiences come from bad judgement.

This is a no-brainer. Nelson purposely misinterpreted what Earl said because, he would rather watch TV than do homework.

I always could manage to do my homework in front of the TV. He needs to learn to multitask. I mean, what else can you do during commercials?

Ha! More experience! Good way to fatten up his resume.

My daughter did her homework in front of the TV. I didn’t like it, but she got mostly "A"s on her report cards so I left well enough alone.

Must be a new bad experience or else Earl would’ve learned this lesson along time ago.

Roscoe has that “OH sh**” look on his face.

Except Earl doesn’t really learn from his experience.

Bad experience … wait till Monday when the teacher stands you in front of the class and asks a series of questions on your assignment. Feelings be darned.

“Grampa” may be right but that doesn’t mean you can slough off the homework.

Homework is the Experience of Learning. Sitting through lectures is just a way of passing time.

He’s too old for homework, but no one is ever too old for lessons.

I’d say that Roscoe agrees with you Nelson ….. :)

…or a “good lesson”.

The best lessons may come from experiences, but that doesn’t mean that homework is without worth.
