One year, when I was a teenager, I was told that I was getting too old for trick or treating. In defiance, I dressed as a toddler, with ponytails, footie pajamas, and a stuffed animal. The next year I thought that they might be right, but wanted one more year, so I dressed as an old woman with a long, dark dress, shawl, and (empty frame) glasses, and borrowed my grandmother’s wig.
Had a young couple one year Trick-or-Treating with their toddler; all were dressed as dinosaurs with the little one in a rolling highchair with a spoon secured to his hand. Remembered the cartoon phrase “Not the Momma!” Cute.
Zoe, set a new trend, go as Taylor Swift Barbie. You will have a jump on the crowd, because we all know that there will be a Taylor Swift Barbie soon along with a Travis Kelce Ken.

When I saw Ruth, I was thinking Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

There are a lot of women considerably older than Wanda out there channelling their “inner Barbie”.

Wanda, everyone can be Barbie. Plus, seeing mother and daughter in matching costumes is very cute. Go with Zoe and have fun!

Barbie’s for all ages.

Only in property-obsessed America you’ll see even innocent comic strips featuring a toy’s name with the TM symbol. Stupid obsession.
