Some of our regions/autonomous communities (bit like a state but smaller) have Capital cities/towns like Madrid, Valencia, Murcia etc but most don´t, Aragon, Catalonia, Galicia et.

The capital of Saskatchewan is “S”… (Oh – you wanted the capitol…)

Trivia. Nevada has 16 counties, but the capital is not located in any one of them. Carson City is an independent entity, also known as a “county equivalent”

Saskatchewan is where Sasquatch caught one.

When I was in High School I visited my Grandmother in Saskatoon. Talked to a girl there about relative merits of Canadian and American education. …she could name all 50 states and their capitals, I struggled thru about ½ of Canada’s provinces and their capitals. Pretty embarrassing.

I live in western New York state. Most people around here know Albany is the Capital. People who live in New York City think they are the center of the universe.

I feel so guilty for laughing about this ;-)
