I just learned Spades…playing against 3 on a computer. My partner p’s me off and I don’t get those dam bag penalties.

War isn’t always bad. War on illiteracy for example. War on disease. War on hatred. And let’s be honest, war on genocide is not bad unless those being wiped out are inherently evil and even that one is iffy.

War? What is it good for?

Grampa looks like the kind of guy who could engage Nelson in a good game of TEGWAR if he wanted to.

We used to call that game “battle” haven’t played it in years

War! What is it good for? Absolutely nuthin!" But my brother and I, when we were really bored, played it. Rummy was better and gin rummy was better than that. So why did we play war which was so boring?

When I first learned this game, we called it “ever-lasting”. Then we started calling it "War’. I’m not sure why.
