Anyone who is calling out Israel right now is ignorant, antisemitic or both. Israel is simply doing what is necessary to defend itself – while still trying to save as many civilian lives as possible, which is more than what any other country would do. When dealing with a terrorist government who as we all saw, will stop at nothing to destroy you, you have to destroy them, and if those terrorists hide behind their own civilians (who elected them, BTW), that’s on them.

After reading several of the comments, I didn’t realize Roget had published a Fascist’s Thesaurus…..

Their school in the US are currently “canceling” books like To Kill a Mockingbird, The Color Purple, and Of Mice And Men, and 1984.

Their school is “canceling” the teaching of African American History and psychology.

And some schools are trying to promote Christianity through so-called “Bible literacy” in the classrooms.

The right-wing cartoonists need to start addressing the book-banning, class-canceling, and brain-washing going on in their backyard, because this is how and where terroristic theocracy starts.

It is not a WAR. Countries go to war. HAMAS is not a country. They are terrorists and criminals. Do we stop them? Do we fight them? Yes. But we are not at war with them. They are thugs, punks, murders. Calling it war gives them power.

Vile as Hamas’s actions were, shooting babies and all.. is it much different than laying siege to a hospital where babies in incubators are left to die because the electricity was shut off. Or babies crushed in bombed buildings.

The point is; “Your school taught you to cancel our Founding Fathers and Champion vile terrorists who shoot babies as liberators”. Which Universities teach students to cancel the founding fathers? There must be a lot of examples to choose from, right, so I’m sure that you can provide lots of examples. Remember that colleges and universities have many different schools and many different professors with many diverse opinions on things (that’s why there are many).

And while we’re on the subject of the Fall of Rome, why do you guys raise up Rome as anything other than a barbaric empire that held millions of slaves, conquered every nation is bordered and virtually wiped out the nation of Judea – Israel?

If only we could live up to the exemplary — tolerant of each other — indivisible nation we profess to be … that is able to achieve common goals that include all and exclude none, maybe other nations would follow.

What percentage of students are we talking about here? I attended college, and there was usually a small group protesting something or other. Didn’t have time to stick around to find out. I was late for class.

Our point is simple enough for even a leftist Columbia professor to understand it. Hamas can achieve an instant cease-fire just by releasing all of the hostages it took on October 7.

If Hamas laid down its arms, there would be peace. If Israel laid down its arms, there would be no Israelis left alive.
