Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
The last video was probably Xaviera Libris. This one is definitely her, and itâs the same case, so that means they both are. (Iâm saying this from Samâs perspective. We readers know that both of them are her.
Maybe Sam should have taken that coffee break. Heâs starting to talk to himself, a sign his heavy workload is causing exhaustion & maybe a mental breakdown. Or maybe somebody should have clued the writer in that there are such things as thought balloons in comic strips.
Unless a Shelley Zombie can provide a logical explanation as to why Sam switched his watch from his left hand to his right hand, it appears a big blunder was made by her.
However, in her defense, itâs got to be just as hard for her to stay awake during this snoozefest as it is for us.
Now waitsaminute. Was not Manutis been murdered about eleven months ago? Who on earth is keeps all CCTV video footages that long back? What a plot hole eh.
Going through and deleting dead phone contacts while extending holiday wishes to others I managed to get Night-Gaunt49 on.
He is (still) in hospital from a below-the-right-knee amputation and is going through rehab. Anyone who cares to âkeep him some companyâ send your inquiry to me (at the profile) and I will send you his number. Not posting it here as it leaves potential for SPAM calls.
And, besides the memory storage issue already mentioned and commented on, how precisely do they know the date of the death of Manutius? Was that a sign-in for anyone entering the Institute or just the library at the Institute? It was long enough ago I canât recall (and given the inconsistencies in the storyline Iâm not sure Iâm interested in going back to review). Iâm still pondering the fact that Libris took hours cleaning up the crime scene at the Institute with no one noticing and that the police thought the discovery of two small drops of blood, outside the office where the murder took place eleven months earlier, must be related to the murder.
âMs Libris, so happy to see you. Iâm wondering why the secrecy in this meeting?â
She smiled, âWell, considering the value of the books I will be donating to your library I donât want any potential thieves to hear about the transfer. No one knows Iâm here, correct?â
âAh, I understand. This is a totally private meeting. Could I inquire about the two cases youâre carrying?â
âOh, I always have these two with me. One is, obviously, a security case in case I stumble on a rare book or manuscript. The other is my sword case. Let me assemble it and show you.â
(A lot of killers try for a weapon that is easy to conceal.)
There is now no doubt whatsoever that Xaviera Libris is the murderer. Again, the story structure parallels the Columbo TV paradigm, with the identity of the perp known from the outset and interest being in how the master detective brings the perp to justice. Oh, and one more thing, sir: I like thisâŠ.
After years of playing a secondary role to Tracy, Sam could be the one who solves this case. He does have a plumb assignmentâŠwatching all those video tapes.
A long, thin murder weapon? Possibly a unicorn horn?
OHHHHH! Of course! This is the much-requested MY LITTLE PONY CROSSOVER! Why didnât I see it before? Frustrated at having read every blessed book in Ponyland, Twilight Sparkle has ventured forth to kill and collect with ruthless (if tokenly cute) abandon! SOON, she shall have ALL the books, plus one or two Jughead Specials (the ones featuring Big Ethel as Vanna âPageturnerâ Blight. Those were such classics!).
Nest week? Gargamel joins forces with The Joker to pare own the rank of those ever-annoying Smurfs! Guest shot by Peter Potamus.
1-SAM: Iâve never watched an adult movie that took this long to get to the good stuffâŠ
2- âŠCanât wait to see what kind of toys sheâs carryingâŠ
3-⊠What the⊠just hour after hour of that staircase scene! Whereâs the Rate This Movie option? ZERO STARS! Pity too. The chick looked kind of hot. Probably had nothing on under that coat. And the toys she was carrying meant there wouldnât be any dudes to confuse me about which one of the actors was really turning me onâŠor make me feel bad about my own âequipmentââŠ
Presumably, as everyone knows, it surely must be a stiletto, letter-opener, or similar weapon in the long box? And, separately, altho itâs nice to see Sam get a mention occasionally, people who wear bow ties these days are little suspicious in my humble opinion, eggsept on formal occasions.

Sorry, but a story 100% dialog, 0% action is not going to be successful, as this current story shows.
firestrike1 about 1 year ago
will it be Sam who breaks the case?âŠ
will Sam get his five seconds of fame in the spotlight?âŠ
will Sam no longer wear the mantle of a dimbulb?âŠ
is this Samâs moment to shine?âŠ
or will the light bulb above Samâs head burn out and then itâs lights out?âŠ

Good morningâą, confident baffled coppers !
Samâs got a dilly of a pickle there but heâll work it out just to show Tracy heâs still got it !

Lookâs like it could hold a special build rifle, such as in âThe day of the Jackalâ by Frederick Forsyth.

The identity of the character in the hooded cloak, whom we first saw in the CCTV footage yesterday, is now confirmed by a more direct and clear frame to be indeed Xaviera Libris (as we knew or at least suspected all along), carrying, Sam surmises, the small case for a book and a long narrow case, which he knows is not for a tommygun (shades of the Prohibition Era violin cases!), but for what else he canât think. Is he unaware of her background information, that she was an Olympic alternate fencer at Choate, not to mention that he is investigating a series of murders all committed by a sharp bladed weapon? She must be psychotically obsessive indeed if she needs to use her old fencing sword (foil? Ă©pĂ©e?) or a similar souvenir weapon ( 18th century âsmall swordâ?) to commit her murders.

I suspect the long case is for an epee like weapon. Pehaps a short epee itself with the safety ball at the end removed and the point sharpened.

Perhaps the long case is a sword of some sort, such as either an epee or a fencing saber?

Itâs a pool cue case, sheâs late for her spot on The Hustler, part 3, Daughter of Fast Eddie. See, totally harmless

Itâs probably already been said, but itâs a broken down pool cue. Xaviera worked her way through college hustling pool.

Killer stabs people. Sam sees probable killer with a case about the size of a sword. Sam wonders what it could possibly be.
We wonder whatâs gotten into the MCU that they canât put together such obvious clues.
