My strange friend always baits his hooks with okra when fly fishing…

Actually, that bait is better since the bigger the fish, the better.

Most if not all Fishing lures are first designed to catch Fisherman first ( I know they been catching me for years ! ) , I’ve found that simple is better , Hopkins , Sidewinder, Atom poppers , etc . I REFUSE to use soft plastics , It should be banned like lead wts. And Birdshot !

‘They’ say “you’re doing it wrong” when it’s because of the circumstances. It’s so frustrating but what can you do? They’ll never see it from any other standpoint because ‘they’ aren’t you.
