So wonderful that Lio keeps his mom alive in his heart!

This is very sweet, I work with children who’ve lost parents and I may share this or the idea with them. Often they don’t know how to work through their feelings around the holidays.

The 18th will be the 1 year anniversary of my mother’s passing, 4 days after her 81st birthday.

Seriously, this one brought me to tears.

I’d be curious to know the backstory about Lio’s mom….

Should have asked Dad to join you. He would probably have cried like many of us did……

I lost my mom 21 years ago now. It was sudden and I was in shock for a few weeks. My THEN husband told me about 2 weeks after, when I was crying in the bedroom, “It’s been two weeks, You should be over it by now.” I was close to my mom. He was not close to his. Neither of his siblings were; she was a cold and probably depressed woman.

I always wondered about Lio’s mom. I’m glad they at least referenced her. I don’t really remember any other time that they did.

This made me cry, I miss my mom and dad. They made this time of year so special especially since my birthday is also in December.

So sweet. My grandmother died on Christmas day, my mother was only 6 years old. My mother talked about her all the time when I was young, it made me feel like I knew her. I miss them all so much.

This hit like a gut punch out of the blue.

I just remembered that today marks the 8th anniversary of my beloved mother’s passing. May her memory be for many blessings. Love you, Mom.
