Fairly often we are passed by, or stopped at a light near, some vehicle with the bass turned up to the point that the thumping is uncomfortably loud in OUR vehicle. You can usually figure out which one it’s coming from by the way it’s decorated… and sometimes even bouncing on it’s shocks in time to the beat.
I hear riders threatinlyg exclaim their needlessly loud motorcycles are the #@! sound of ‘merica. Something they apparently love so much they turn up their bike’s sound system loud enough to drown it out.
Casino Rock… that’s the subliminal music softly and subtly played in casinos that puts a ear worm in your head that reminds you to … ‘’bet just a little bit more… you’ll win on the next roll…or the one after that…that your lucky that machine isn’t, try another one….that it’s ok to pull money out of your debit card, you’re sure to win on the next bet…or the one after that…or the one after that…..
I never listen to music on my motorcycle. I figure if it’s loud enough for me to hear it’s too loud for everyone else. And I don’t use earbuds because I want to hear what’s going on around me. That’s saved me more than once from idiot drivers.

Is “casino rock” really a thing?

Whether music is good or bad (or great or awful) is relative to the person listening to it and to the person making/playing the music.
[ … and whether the person is a relative of yours?]

Never understood the radio on a motorcycle. When I ride it’s all about disconnecting and listening to the wind.

Nope, that’s the doppler effect.

Einstein married his cousin, who had big breasts. That’s when he came up with his theory of relative titty.

Actually, it exactly ISN’T. That’s the weird thing about the speed of light: that it’s constant regardless of frame of reference.

Taste in music is, in and of itself, a marvelous example of relativity.

Motorcycles sound so awful in and of themselves – how could anyone possibly hear a radio while near, let alone on, one?

Very few motorcycles have radios, and very few motorcylists that have one use it.
