Looks like a sudden surge in popularity for Michael.

Nice to see Weed, the poor little rich boy, again.

This brings memories!! Being stationed overseas and receiving “care packages” from mom & sis!!!

Rookie mistake, never announce that out loud.

We sent my younger daughter back to school with some of my husband’s fantastic home-made spaghetti to share with friends.

Annnnd… there’s Everyone!!

A belated thank you goes out to all of you that sent care packages to service people in the past! When I was in Bahrain, we were up to our ears in cookies. ;-p

Elly has done a good job demanding her family be healthy and that they will not sponge off OHIP.

She may be allowing Michael to have the privilege of junk food for now, but eventually he will figure it out like the others.

That.. was when postal rates were reasonable, now it’s too expensive to mail anything. Cost me $29.60 to mail a 6 dollar box of Ferrero Rocher® chocolates from Edmonton to Vancouver Island.. regular post. 60 something for expedited couple of days.

Finally, a scene at Michael’s school. We haven’t had one since freshman orientation abruptly dropped off.

Ah yes, care packages from home, always a favorite of GI’s and college kids everywhere.

The only time my mom sent a “care package” duirng my freshman year at school it included a box of cookies she had baked. They were loose in the box, and they didn’t fill it so they bounced around in the box and off each other the whole trip. The result was a box partly full of fairly tasty crumbs. Nice idea with execution issues. I didn’t complain, was frankly surprised she’d sent anything.
