Why not a snowman in the middle of Northern Hemisphere winter?

Frosty has curb appeal.

Frosty could very well find himself under a deep snow, soon enough!!

Yeah, I’m with Arlo on this one, nothing wrong with a snowman in January. Or even February for that matter. We might get a dusting of snow coming week.

I think it’s great having a snowman in the yard during the winter months. Maybe it’ll bring some snow?!

it’s Frosty the snow man you know Christmas

Here in northern Maine we don’t have much snow. Earlier this week the ground was bare, and after two storms we have less than six inches of snow. Usually we have four or more by this time.

Is it Janis’ birthday? “Happy Birthday!” as Frosty would say!

This Frosty would be right at home all year in some of the old mining towns in the Rockies. One Independence Day some years back, Nederland, Colorado, had a short blizzard.

Yes Janis, think about it…a snowman is made of….wait for it….SNOW! In New England we get more snow in January and February than December! I have one on my front lawn that will be there till the end of February

Exactly what is it about the word ‘free’?

My wife just rolls her eyes when I drag perfectly good stuff home with me.

I think the point is that Arlo has made it look as if the snowman has swept away all the snow.

Sorry! I don’t get it. I’m in Chicago, and the only reason some stuff is still set up is because the owners waited too long and now it’s too cold to be out taking everything down…

What else would you decorate with in winter?

The same could be said of playing the song ‘Winter Wonderland’. Nothing in the lyrics to suggest it is only a Christmas song.

Relax Janis, if you have weather like we’re having,this will soon blow over.

It’s the middle of January, but my area didn’t get lasting snow cover until just last week.

There he goes again, with sweeping generalizations.

We’ll just have to lower the broom on him.
