How have the RNC or Fox not snapped her up yet? Considering the GOP has done a lot to remove child labour laws lately (horrifyingly).

Danae is right. I’m a conservative person. I make respectful comments and replies and at least half the time I receive replies that attack my character. I would like to have discussions to clarify issues but that doesn’t happen.

Notice: No name is mentioned, but we all know who this is about. And so-called “conservatives” still worship the vulgar loudmouth.

Admire Wiley and really appreciate Non Sequitur, but there are times I think rehashing a theme like this one is a way of taking a break from having to devise new arcs for readers. Every artist/author needs those times to regenerate.

That is the difference between smart and stupid. Smart people learn from their mistakes, in order not to make those mistakes again. Stupid people double down on their stupid.

In this case, Danae is channeling the Repubs, as they are the stupid that can never admit not only being wrong, but not being what the majority of the people want. Unfortunately, they’ve got a voting base that treats politics like sports and don’t know when to quit a party that no longer represents the best in the USA, but the worst in the world.

Beware of those who have the answer before you finish the question.

I think only a few people are genuinely stupid; most are just too lazy to think.

When you believe you’re the only smart person left in the world.

Most dangerous people in today’s world are stupid smart people.

Still I’m glad to see that she survived yesterday.

I found it to be more effective and compassionate to talk about people doing stupid things instead of talking about stupid people. It takes years of introspection, but compassion tells me everybody does and say stupid things at times.

Poor Danae takes some leaps of logic, and I don’t mean the stuff she says. On some days, she acts like a rueful kid, on others, she displays the (good/bad) thinking of an adult, which is out of character. In the end, Danae is the unwitting mouthpiece of a range of real-life adult characters with questionable behavioral traits.
