Apparently Rikki’s gratitude towards Tracy didn’t extend far enough to tipping Tracy off a professional assassin had targeted Tess.

Chances are the M.E. findings show that Troughton was also poisoned. How did Fata do it? The guy walked off the stage after being reconnected. Meanwhile maybe a temporary employment agency will send someone to fill in for Johnny. Filing and answering the telephone.

I’m enjoying this story. That said, Seven of Nine is a bit of a dolt, blinded no doubt by her arrogance and overconfidence.

First, Throughton dies shortly after appearing in her act.

Then Johnny nearly dies shortly after she came to see Tess.

Now Tracy will surely investigate. And he’s no dolt.

Seven’s goose is cooked, unless 2+2 no longer equals 4.

Oh snap, I forgot the modern education experts now insist 2+2 doesn’t have to equal 4 anymore. So maybe Seven will skate after all.

I’m wondering if the reason for Johnny’s survival was that the amount of poison was intended for a smaller person like Tess.

1-DT: I put out a message to The Friends Of Johnny Adonis before I left. They should be here by now since I stopped for a coffee and donut on the way.

2-TESS: I haven’t seen them. I think they might be in a The Friends Of Sam meeting. DT: SAM HAS FRIENDS??? TESS: Well…two. And they “ain’t right” if you take my meaning.

3- TESS: Why don’t you have a “Friends” fan club, Dick? DT: I do! HUGE MEMBERSHIP! But for some reason, they mostly talk about Rachel but lately they’ve been all tore up about somebody named Chandler. Maybe he was President of my club.

TESS: Oh Dick you Dolt…

So the plan was to have them both get nicked by the pen? Otherwise, as it happened, one saves the other.Now Adonis knows exactly how and who poisoned him so our assassin has to hide for the rest of her life…..

I am hoping that Tracy’s “M.E.’s report” on the Throughton murder is more than just a superficial “cause of death: poison.” What is needed is a thorough forensic toxicology work-up, to identify the specific poison/toxin that was used (as well as related matters, such as strength of dose, manner of introduction, etc.). If similar tests are done on Johnny, it will become clear that his was a different poison. Also, it may be the case that his little accidental pen-prick did not transmit the full dose that Fata had intended to give Tess; hence his survival and probable recovery.
