When I lived in the Pacific Northwet, I had a plan to unite Oregon, Washington and British Columbia into ALWET – the Alliance of Water Exporting Territories. We would sell Southern California water for $85 a barrel. We’d give them a $10 a barrel discount if they took a barrel of toxic waste from the Hanford Nuclear facility and another $10 off a barrel if they would take one of their former residents back.
In our local newspapers Comic section, this particular comic could fit into a 3″ × 5″ index card with room to spare. You needed a magnifying glass to read the captions.

Does anybody know if there is a smoking volcano in Upstate New York?
The only one I can think of is Mount Saint Helen’s, New York.
