or, upend carrier so door is on top, gently decant cat in headfirst, slam door, turn carrier right side up.

Better yet, put a cardboard box inside the carrier.

This one is so great! How the cat is drawn :-D Love it.

To get my cat in there, it’d have to be as powerful as one of NASA’s space simulation vacuum chambers. And even that might not be strong enough.

The words ‘vacuum’ and ‘cat’ should not occur in the same sentence. My boys would hide very well if that device was real.

Brushing the teeth of cats is an activity with a lot more danger and damage creating ability than getting it into a crate.

“Nature abhors a vacuum.” Cats don’t like ‘em much, either. Cats are terrible natural.
