Our dog doesn’t like rain. Or wind. But she LOVES mud!

That’s because cats are trained to go potty in a litter box, John. So Elly and you might consider getting a cat after Farley and Edgar. Cats don’t go outside and get dirty but they might bring home a mouse. Or a lizard. Or a bird.

Time to shake!!!

Better stand back, John—before the dogs shake themselves dry.

The phrase is supposed to have originated in England in the 17th century. City streets were then filthy and heavy rain would occasionally carry along dead animals.”

I heard…Way back when, dogs / cats/ other creatures stayed up in the grass roofs and when it rained really hard they came out by falling to the inside ground of the huts.

In my experience dogs, still having part of their wild side, don’t really mind rain at all especially when it is raining cats unto them!

What dogs don’t like is the sudden rumble ( more like blast) of thunder!

Many cat owners let they cats wander ouside the house all day.

Cats are wild animals that live in your house.

Most pet owners have the sense to not put their pets out when it’s raining.

If you love wildlife, keep your cats indoors. Feral and Domestic Cats that are allowed outside kill lots of birds and other small animals.

We found my daughter’s cat in a dumpster. Took it in. To this day it still wants to be outside. It comes in at night and to eat. Cat’s belong outdoors.

When you gotta go, you gotta go!!!

The smell of wet dog,there’s nothing like it.(You decide if that’s a compliment or not)

Good thing Farley barked to let them in, or Edgar would still be out there in the rain scratching away and wondering about the cruelty of man.

What would Michael have to say about this? Remember, he is home and stole Elizabeth’s sandwich.

We keep a pile of old towels by the door just for that … our dogs were trained to stand there and be dried out…

I thought you weren’t supposed to open the door when he scratched.

Come to think of it, why leave the dogs outside on their own like that? My family’s always gone out with them, or at least stood in the doorway keeping an eye on them and calling them back in when we’ve had enough. Though there was one time I let them out, went back inside to get something real fast, forgot they were out there, and three hours later they were chilling on the back porch.

They are both going to shake the water off in 3…2…1…
