For instance, it can’t conjure up room in the budget for a new pair.

If only “pinch to resize” worked in real life. My house would be bigger and my pile of laundry, smaller :-))

Smart-thumb technology – great for checking sizes and booping noses, not so great for color changes.

In later life, Zoe changes her name to Lila, starts a shoe blog, works in a call center and has a gay guy as a roommate.

In my day they took X-rays of my feet to see if they were the right size.

There you go with that word need again, Zoe. Be honest and just say you want a new shoes.

Either way, it’s not likely to happen until those shoes don’t fit or are worn out..

Zoe is going to compensate for this as an adult and buy every colour in every shoe.

When I was 11 someone gave my mom boys shoes for me to wear. NM told me to polish them. I hated those shoes, polished one with brown polisha nd the other with black and hid them separately in the basement and I had to wear my old worn out sneakers full of holes for being defiant.
