If I had my druthers, I druther be able to draw than several other things I’m not able to do well. But I can’t draw water with a rope and bucket. However my mother was a tolerable artist. On a fixed income. Which got spent on art supplies to a greater proportion than most of us thought was reasonable. But she loved it. And the kids didn’t have to kick in to keep her in biscuits and beans… and paint.
Sadly, I notice that our contribution to the canvas of life is a drab little blotch in a vast, mostly blank wasteland. ………..or maybe I just need more coffee

But is the cat on a “fixed” income?

Danny Kaye said something like that. I’m sure others did, too.

My artistic skills are essentially non-existent. I couldn’t draw flies with a fresh pile of dog poo.

Painting on a big canvas has nothing to do with a fixed income.

That’s what you get when you trash the local paint store.

Now a days when you splash a bunch of paint around you can expect a visit from the E.P.A.

The reason they call it a fixed income is you feel like you’ve been neutered.
