If I had my druthers, I druther be able to draw than several other things I’m not able to do well. But I can’t draw water with a rope and bucket. However my mother was a tolerable artist. On a fixed income. Which got spent on art supplies to a greater proportion than most of us thought was reasonable. But she loved it. And the kids didn’t have to kick in to keep her in biscuits and beans… and paint.

My artistic skills are essentially non-existent. I couldn’t draw flies with a fresh pile of dog poo.

Life takes a while … so you shouldn’t splash it all at once.

Opal has a good pointalism.

She’ll never become rich and famous if her only followers are cats.

That’s what you get when you trash the local paint store.

Now a days when you splash a bunch of paint around you can expect a visit from the E.P.A.

Muffin approves got to buy the Kitty Food.

I thought Opal is a superb painter.

Bill Gates is on a fixed income, too.

Time to start spending the kid’s money, dear.

Sadly, I notice that our contribution to the canvas of life is a drab little blotch in a vast, mostly blank wasteland. ………..or maybe I just need more coffee
